A Day at the Lighthouse 2012

For the fifth year running; The Grand Lodge and Mama are pleased to welcome you back to A Day At The Lighthouse. Taking place on on one of the most picturesque islands in the North Sea, Utsira, Norway, this intimate festival is the perfect way to round off the summer. For this years pre-party (31st August), main event and after party (1st Sept.) we have booked the following bands and DJs:

TRAVEL INFO: OUT: There is frequent buses and ferries from Bergen and Stavanger to Haugesund, then catch the ferry from Haugesund to Utsira. Approx. 1hour ride. Flaggruten

There is direct flights from Stansted, London, currently under 30£ return (as per 22.06.12), on Thursday 30 August with Ryanair. We would recommend arriving on the Thursday as the ferry from the mainland to the Island matches up with the flight. No flights on Friday. HOME:

There is return flights on Sunday and Tuesday. For those choosing to return from Haugesund to Stansted on the Sunday be aware that you’ll have to get the 9.00 morning ferry to Haugesund. Judging by the experience of previous attendees we highly recommend staying on for a nice relaxing island experience till Tuesday.

A Day at the Lighthouse is a festival located on a small, beautiful island in the North Sea, an hours boat trip from Haugesund. For those of you who's ever listened to the shipping forecast; North Utsira/South Utsira might ring a bell.

The program features outdoors concerts and DJs at Utsira lighthouse on what must be one of the most picturesque concert stages there are. And to top it off, an afterparty at Dalanaustet (the islands local pub). Rent a cabin or set up your tent and enjoy this years festival with us!
